The truth you fear to believe, will lead the path to treasure
Some mysteries are not solved — they are remembered. Some waters do not ripple — they listen. And some invitations are written quietly by fate.
When author Pandit Sarkar first crossed paths with the soft‑spoken Dr. R. K. Sarma on a drifting train, he never imagined that destiny had already begun stitching their lives together. Years later, that gentle stranger — a retired geologist, mentor, and now an unlikely private investigator — would draw him into a mystery older than memory itself.
What begins as a simple birthday visit soon spirals into Dr. Sarma’s first official case. Beneath the ancient skies of Guwahati, the timeless waters of Digholi Pukhuri stir once more — a lake where Ahom ships once rested, where legends breathe beneath the surface, and where time folds like mist over water. A series of chilling sightings has gripped the city: a sailor in white, vanishing without a trace, leaving nine men hospitalized in fear.
Mausum Sharma, writing as Mousum—meaning Messenger of Love—is a contemporary author from India with a background in engineering, marketing, and over 15 years in the IT industry. His writing blends logic with emotion, experience with imagination.
Raised in military schools and forested landscapes, Mausum’s early life shaped his sense of discipline, curiosity, and creativity. Guided by mentors and teachers, his worldview was formed by adventure, literature, and a belief in seeing beyond the obvious.
Author of The King of My Teenage Heart trilogy and the Dr. Sarma Adventures series, Mausum writes across psychological fiction and children’s mystery—balancing a global career with a steadily growing literary voice.
